The moment we've eagerly awaited is finally upon us! After nearly two years of dedication and hard work, anticipation has reached its peak, and it’s time to set this adventure in motion.
Shimmer is set to launch the ShimmerEVM exactly one year after the launch of Shimmer itself, on Thursday, the 28th of September. We will open the game website on the same day, but the Founder Hero Sale will not commence until Sunday, 1st of October, 3 pm CEST!
What is IOTA Heroes?
IOTA Heroes is the first game to launch on the ShimmerEVM. It’s a fantasy-themed RPG set in the enchanting world of Fortuvia, filled with various monsters and loot. The cornerstone of IOTA Heroes, of course, are the Heroes themselves. If you possess a hero, you can prepare it for an adventure and send it on its way. After a while, the hero will return, and if the adventure was successful, you will receive loot!

Our Heroes
Technically the heroes are NFTs built on the ERC721 standard. We have three types of heroes:
Founder Heroes:
These are limited edition, available exclusively during this Sale. They are endowed with unique attributes (visual features) and have the exclusive ability to discover Hero Tokens as part of their regular adventure loot, which are crucial for minting new heroes.
Regular Heroes:
These are accessible to all, minted using hero tokens and gold. Although they are unable to find hero tokens within the standard adventure drop tables, their combat ability is on par with that of the Founders.
Promo Heroes:
These are confined to 20 meticulously handcrafted themed heroes and they replicate the capabilities of Founder Heroes.
With these classifications in place, we are thrilled to unveil the Founder Hero Sale.

Heroes to Mint: 5,000
Mint Price: 1,000 SMR (~0.027 ETH | $43 USD at the time of writing)

For those who were fortunate enough to secure a Free-Mint during the Treasures of Shimmer Test Campaign, now is your chance to use them! On the mint page, your available free-mints will be visible. To claim your complimentary Founder Hero, simply click the button and complete the transaction!
Purchasing heroes
Visit the game website and navigate to the Founder Sale section. Here, you can choose the number of heroes you’d like to purchase and confirm the price. We’ve also got some exclusive perks for those acquiring multiple heroes!
Exclusive Bonus Items
Mint between 3 and 7 heroes in one transaction to receive a colored balloon sword. Although not very effective in combat, they are exclusive to this sale and boost +20 Luck, a rare and valuable stat in the game, enabling chances of securing Lucky Loot drops on adventures.
Mint more than 7 heroes in a single transaction to acquire a mysterious egg, available in 5 different colors and exclusive to this sale. While not utilizable at launch, future game updates may reveal intriguing possibilities! 👀

Mint 10 heroes in one transaction to receive both the exclusive sword and the egg! Keep in mind, transactions are capped at 10 heroes.
Promo Hero Auctions
In addition to the Founder Heroes, we are excited to host the PROMO Hero Auctions. These will be Dutch-style auctions, meaning they will start at the maximum price and gradually reduce to 0.
Each auction will last up to 7 days, with a starting price of 350,000 SMR. Over these 7 days, the price will continually decrease until reaching zero—though we anticipate the heroes will be acquired long before then!
We are hosting FIVE such auctions, all running concurrently. So, it’s time to meet the heroes!

Here is what you need to participate
You need a wallet browser extension such as MetaMask, after installing the extension you need to setup your account.
You need some Shimmer Tokens (SMR) to be able to transact within the game and to mint Founder Heroes.
You need to go to the game website and sign up by picking a username and signing a transaction with your wallet.
