PvP is here! The Hero Showdown introduces a matchmaking-based PvP adventure where max-level heroes battle for glory in the Fortuvia Arena. Victory brings exclusive rewards, including new powerful gear, a rare pet, and IOTA-backed items.
But beware—the stakes are high! Item Fragility now means losing a fight could cost you your gear, while winners claim their fallen opponent’s lost items.
To join, purchase a one-time PvP Access Ticket (700 $IHG) and queue up for battle.

We’ve hosted PvP tournaments before, but now it’s time to introduce our first persistent PvP feature, The Hero Showdown!
This brand-new adventure acts as a matchmaking queue where only max-level heroes can battle it out in the Fortuvia Arena. You’ve trained hard, honed your skills, and now it’s time to prove your hero is the strongest!
Victory comes with exclusive new loot, including powerful items only found in PvP battles. But there’s more, Item Fragility now has a high-stakes twist!
Item Fragility – A Risky Wager
Normally, items have a chance to break during adventures, whether you win or lose. But in The Hero Showdown, only defeated heroes risk losing their gear, and the chance is doubled!
Item protection has no effect in The Hero Showdown!
Here’s the real game-changer: If you win, you claim the items your opponent lost!
Will you walk away victorious, claiming your enemy’s possessions, or fall in battle and risk losing it all?
The Initiate's Flail has a Fragility of 4%, but if you lose a PvP adventure it's doubled to 8%! If you win its 0%
How do I play?
Once your hero reaches max level, you’ll unlock access to Hero Showdown, you will still need to pay the usual adventure fee but there’s another small entry requirement.
PvP Access Ticket
To enable PvP for your hero, you’ll need to purchase a ticket from the General Store for 700 IHG (about 7 IOTA at the time of writing). This is a one-time purchase per hero, permanently granting access to the adventure.
Thinking about renting heroes? You can use your ticket on another player’s hero, giving them PvP access and allowing you to compete with a rented hero.

Matchmaking System
Once you enter the Hero Showdown queue, your hero will be paired with a worthy opponent based on various attributes. The minimum wait time is one hour, while the maximum is twelve hours. If no suitable match is found within that window, your hero will battle a bot instead. In case your hero faces a bot, you don't risk losing items, but you also can't receive the most rare items in the drop table.
The longer your hero waits in the queue, the broader the matchmaking criteria become, increasing the chances of finding an opponent. However, to keep things fair, you will never be matched against your own heroes. Prepare for battle and prove your strength in the arena!
